I'm Jenn and i'll be 17 on October 11 (awesome day of the year.) I'm a senior in a high school in New York. I never ever know what to put in these about me things so I guess I'll just ramble. And if you read from here on, you're probably very bored. My favorite band ever ever ever is Taking Back Sunday. When I first listened to them I fell in love with them right away. The music is incredible as well as the band members. And I know Fred isn't a member anymore but I do support him and the Color Fred (it's awesome too :D). I do not appreciate it when people smack talk him about leaving. It was a personal choice and there is so much more to his decision that people don't really understand or haven't heard about. I've been playing the violin for 9 years, I love playing the sims 2. Yes, I guess I do consider myself pretty dorky. I'm not your average girl but then again what is average anymore? The Sims 2 are awesome and I do get attached to them sadly. I will own you at guitar hero and don't doubt because when you have an entire summer of unemployment and you hate the heat, that's just what happens. I love to read. I think I love reading more than being around people. I'm not exactly a people person but I have definitely improved my people skills. I'm no longer a complete hermit, nor am I extremely shy. I'd like to keep improving them, so talk to me. I want to get to know someone. Reading for me is just another way of escaping and to live in a completely different realm for a short time. I love reading series because I get attached to the characters. I love knowing them inside or having to uncover something about them or learn something completely new. I adore and have an undying devotion for Harry Potter and the Twilight Saga (but who doesn't?). Whenever I finish a really good book, a part of me dies :( Hmmmm, I always wear my Taking Back Sunday poker chip necklace, and it's funny because people always ask me if I love playing the game. Then I tell them there's a band's name on it. Then of course they have no idea who that band is. But that's alright. They're special to me. I'm really crazy about keeping my electronics in great shape. I have a 2 year old ipod video and I can probably sell it for its original price because it's in such great condition. But that part about my personality bugs me a little bit because i'm unable to lend things to people without worrying about it coming back in the same condition [ESPECIALLY WITH BOOKS DO NOT GET ME STARTED (: ] Bad experiences with that. I hate whiners and complainers and yet I do catch myself off guard and I will admit I am one of them. I'm trying to stop because I do not like that quality in other people, so why do it myself? That'll just make me a hypocrite. I used to love listening to what my friends had to say until nobody would listen to my own voice. So I turned to a journal that I write everything in, which is risky business, trust me. And now, I'll listen but not as well as I used too unfortunately. I hope, well, I believe that one day i'll meet someone who will listen to me, really really listen like the way I do with others, and give some sort of feedback. I hate in crowds, trends, and just all around popularity contests. People are people and that's just it. I'm sick of living in a world where we're all at war, at each others throats, in debt, inflation, discriminatory views on things like gay marriages, litter bugs, people who couldn't care less about our earth, fakes, liars, ect. (yah I know, I splurged on that one and complained again.) I've grown up but I do still have a lot of growing up to do at the same time. Of course, this small section of my profile where I just rambled about some random facts about me, merely scratches the surface to who I really am. And that's a tough question, because nobody as ever dug that deep before. Maybe i'll come back on here and update some more.
